4–20 Beta Launch Daily Update
Over the past days, the team has been onboarding creators, curators, and pre-registered collectors to the Blind Boxes Mainnet beta. During this time, users engaged with this early iteration of the platform by:
- Curating solo and collaborative collections of NFTs
- Purchasing Blind Boxes using $BLES or $BUSD
- Sharing constructive feedback and bugs with the team
To be clear: although we are launched on the Mainnet our work is far from done.
The founding team possesses engineer’s mindsets and sees the virtues of rapid prototyping and iterative development. The goal has always been to build a platform for collaboration, experimentation, discovery, and creativity. These concepts apply to the finished product as well as to the road leading up to it.
This is why we’ve engaged the community to join our development journey in such a hands-on way. We hear your feedback and are using it to refine the UX and functionality of the site. With respect to aesthetics, expect to see a major facelift over the coming days and weeks.
Bug Bounty Program
To engage the community and show appreciation for our engaged supporters, we are launching a bug bounty program. To participate, simply report bugs and constructive feedback to support@blindboxes.io.
Submissions should include:
- Screenshots of the issue
- Your Telegram or Twitter handle
- Your favorite dad-joke or meme (optional)
Users that submit high-quality, non-redundant submissions will be eligible to receive up to 100 BLES each. For full transparency, the aliases of bounty winners will be published on Medium and Twitter.
Community
Blind Boxes is all about transparent, decentralized collaboration and curation. All of the collections for sale currently came together organically, oftentimes with people who had never met before. Discord (#collaborative-lab channel) has been the ground floor for artists to introduce their projects, network, and join collaborative blind boxes. We look forward to seeing more collabs flourish.
Curators
During this launch phase, the curators have all been the artists themselves. The next phase will include brands, celebrities, agents, and even whale collectors. Everyone is welcome to apply to become a Blind Boxes Curator. Curators can launch their own blind box collections and earn commission on the sales.
About Blind Boxes
Blind Boxes is a gamified curation platform and launchpad for NFTs (non-fungible tokens). This highly scalable dApp enables brands and creators to diversify their revenue streams, increase the liquidity of their creative assets, and become leaders in decentralized global economies while engaging fans and buyers to discover and collect rare, limited edition NFTs.
Via the Blind Boxes Marketplace, buyers experience the thrill of time-released curated NFT collections. Here collectors unlock sealed packages of exclusive items, curated by tastemakers across the arts, music, & entertainment. Curation is at the core of our value proposition. The platform offers a commission structure that incentivizes independent contributors to produce bespoke blind box collections that feature top-tier talent and emerging artists and designers from around the world.
